Engel School of Music was started in 2007 to bring the city of Northfield, and its surrounding areas, a quality center for private musical instruction and ensembles. Our staff will be growing along with the school itself over time, expanding into a larger facility to accomodate even more students and ensembles when possible. For now we are located at 1701 McKinley Drive Northfield MN, 55057. With high quality studio areas for both individual lessons and ensembles, Engel School of Music delivers the best possible environment for musical growth and development.

Engel School of Music History

Engel School of Music was started by Eberhard and Megan Engel in August of 2007. Both Eberhard and Megan hold a Masters Degree from The University of Iowa. The idea to start Engel School of Music came from the severe lack of quality instruction from local music stores where they had worked and visited.
