Students at the Engel School of Music can learn many styles of music including, but not limited to:  Classical (Baroque, Classical, Romantic), Renaissance, Contemporary, New Age, Progressive, Heavy Metal, Rock, Alternative, Pop, Jazz, Blues, Country, Ska, Reggae, and Punk.  Along with playing these styles of music, students can learn about music history, how to compose a song, and build musical bonds and friendships while here.

Our students also have the unique opportunity to perform in classical ensembles, rock ensembles (Rock Band 101), and recitals for FREE while they take lessons through the Engel School of Music.  In these groups students will learn what it takes to make a small ensemble work, including how to arrange music, choose music that fits the groups ability, setup, and many other skills!  The recitals are a chance for parents and friends to see the accomplishments of our students, and perhaps a piece played by a guest artist, or instructor. 

We will also have special topic lectures available in the future from our instructors.  These lectures are free to Engel School of Music students.

• We only have instructors who hold a Masters Degree or higher in Music!

All lesson materials - such as method books, solo music, and notebooks - are based on individual student needs, and are determined by their instructor.
